Our little Princess is 2!

Say goodbye to free entry into football games, basketball games and Disneyland . No more free airline trips or free buffets, our little Meggie is 2!

We had a delightful Princess Birthday party. Grandpa and Grandma were here, along with Aunt Chels and Uncle Cody. Meggie got dressed up in her Princess Fairy outfit she got from Grandma Carol and Grandpa Dave. My mom and I made a Princess cake, just like the ones I remember my mom making for me when I was growing up. Megan was so happy with the cake!

Funny thing about Megan:

1) She turns lots of one-syllable words into two-syllable words. Like school is "schooo--elll" and click is "caaa---lick".

2) She sticks up for her big brother. The other day, I took a toy away from Ian because he was playing with it instead of eating his dinner. Meggie promptly told me multiple time that "Ian had that thing, Mommy. Ian had that thing!"

3) She knows when she is being cute and milks all the attention out of it she can get.

4) She loves to have her toenails painted.

5) She is pretty much fearless (except for the other day going through the automatic carwash . . . scaaarrry!!)

6) She knows how to say her ABC's and count to 10.

7) She loves to sing, especially, "Jesus wants me for a Sunbeam", with enhanced arm motions.

8) She loves to eat butter, yes just plain butter.  Oh yummy!

9) She gives the best hugs and kisses!

We love you Meggie!

You look pretty smoking in your shades! I am NOT showing my girls that cake...I'd be forever in trouble for the crappy ones they always get. Your parents look just like I remember them. Why do I look so much older? I love that you call her Meggie for short...I just assumed that was her name. How are you?

Wow - that is one impressive cake - I will not be showing Ana that cake - her birthday is Wednesday and thankfully all that she has requested is a round cake with sprinkles...I can handle that!

There's nothing better then a stick of butter with lunch Amanda. Although that could be part of my big butt problem. Maybe.
