Meg's Dance Recital
This little guy was REALLY happy to watch all these little girls dance for (what seemed like) HOURS.
Her solo part.
The whole fam after the recital. Ian is just as excited as ever. The recital was at the Squaw Valley resort (the site of the 1960 Olympics.)

What a blessing!
Kevin's parents, Dave and Carol came, along with Great Grandma Hurn, and Kevin's brother Brian with his family. Love these people! We had such a fun weekend!

Ian's 7th bday!
My baby is 7! It is impossible. We had a very low-key party (I learned my lesson after Meg's out of control extravaganza 5th bday party). Just a few friends, with the (in the words of Ian) "biggest nerf gun fight EVER!" We made pizza, jumped on the tramp, had our nerf gun fight and opened gifts. It was perfect.
A few notes about Ian:
He and his dad golf every Saturday morning. Then they go get a slushy at 7-11.
He loves to read (especially when we are trying to get him to go to bed.)
He tells us all the time how he needs to be playing more sports.
His favorite food is ribs and lots of 'em.
He talks all the time about how he is going to serve his mission in New York.
When he says his bedtime prayers, he often prays that we will conserve water.
He got the game ball at his baseball game the other day, you've never seen a more excited kid!
He loves to play "Just Dance 3" on the Wii. Wow, does he have some killer moves!
His teacher tells me that he is a great kid. He really cares about others. I volunteered in his class today and listened as he invited a sweet little handicapped girl over for a playdate. We are so proud of the young man he is!
Ian's Choir concert. He was a "lama wearing pajamas."

Kevin's Triathlon
Kevin and his brother, Brian, did a triathlon together in Moraga this spring. This is Kevin's 3rd Tri. The kids loved seeing their dad and Uncle compete. The weather was fabulous and the competitors were fantastic!

Hunter's Bday
Hunter is a full fledged died in the wool, tazmanian devil 2 year old! I thought I had experienced the terrible twos, but Ian and Meg didn't even come close to what we have arrived at with this little guy. He is the messiest, craziest, wildest, funniest little boy. We adore him. We had a very simple but fun birthday party, complete with an airplane cake!
A few notes about Big Dog:
He likes to call himself "Big Dog"
He tells us no less than 50 jokes a day. His favorite one is "Guess What?" "What?" "Mickey Mouse hot dog!"
His favorite thing to do is "ride truck, go to dump, then Mcdonalds"
His favorite place is the airport. We talk about the airport all day.
He always wants me to kiss his owies to make them better. Yesterday he bit his tongue and then stuck it out for me to kiss and make better. I'm nice, but not THAT nice.
He likes to tease and torment his older sister, and he likes to do it often.
He likes to spit things out in hidden corners of the house, leave half eaten popsicles on the floor, dump baby powder all over the couch, take his diaper off (won't get into those details), drink his daddy's diet coke and then pour it on the carpet, use mommy's eyeliner all over his face, throw mac and cheese all over the kitchen, and wipe his nose on my pants. I think I'll send him a cleaning bill when he's 40.
