My baby is 4!

Our little buddy turns 4 today. I can't believe it! A friend told me the other day that the days are long, but the years are short! So true! Ian is such a tremendous light in our lives. He is an incredible big brother to Meggie and always such a good example. He loves to look like a missionary at church. He is funny, really funny. And what's funny about it, is that he KNOWS when he is being funny. I think I have a little "class clown" on my hands. He is a great golfer. Seriously, he is really good. He has a super smooth swing and is hitting the ball straight and far these days. He is kind and smart and sweet.  We are so thankful for you, Ian!
We had his birthday party with friends on Saturday at the splash pool. Call me crazy, taking 10 little guys to the pool, but they had a blast.

Giving a hug to Auntie Rogierre.

We had dinosaur cupcakes, spiderman party blowers, and hot-shot sun glasses for all the kids.
Brenley and Ian.
Meggie and Kevin went down the slide about 87 times.
Grandpa Dave and Grandma Carol coming through with a big Batman toy!

Uncle Nate is the big 3-0

My little, yes, little brother turns the big 3-0 today.  Here are a few great things about why we love him:

-He has a great laugh.  Seriously, you should find a good joke to tell him just so that you can hear him laugh.
-He works hard.
-He is generous.  He always used to give me some of his monopoly money if I was losing.
-He has lots of muscles.
-He is the coolest Uncle ever because he works with tractors, so he gets to tell Ian all about them.  He also sends Ian tractor catalogs!
-He is loyal.  When he found out about David, he was in his car immediately, coming to Utah to help.  Thanks, Nate.

Happy Birthday Uncle Nate, We love you!

Disneyland 2009

We are just back from a fabulous trip to Disneyland!  The kids LOVED it.  Just to name a few things we did: we rode the Buzz Lightyear ride 87 times, Dumbo twice, Its a Small World, Finding Nemo, Autopia, Soarin' Over California (my personal favorite), Pinnochio, Autopia, Jungle Cruise, Tiki Room, The Steamboat, The Train, Storyland boats, the Carousel, Talked with Crush from Finding Nemo, went to the Playhouse Disney Show, Tarzan's Treehouse, A Bug's Life, etc, etc, etc.  The fun never stopped.  I am such a sucker for Disneyland.  I love the magic!

It's A Small World

Here is Ian not really liking the Roller Coaster!

My favorite picture from the trip, Meggie with Minnie Mouse!

This is the brick we bought when Dave and Carol (Kevin's parents) took all of us in 2005.
