I bet you never would have guessed that Meg wanted to be a princess. Cinderella, that is. We didn't have to spend a dime on Halloween costumes this year. (nice.)
Ian (in last years costume-yipee!) a fighter pilot. Very handsome.
Hunter was a cowboy for our first few Halloween events (Pumpkin patch festival and our church party). Of course, by the time Halloween came around we had managed to lose exactly 1/2 of the items that made up his costume (1 boot, cowboy hat, and red handercheif). So, we had to resort to a BYU football player. He wears this helmet all the time anyway, so it wasn't too much of a change for him!
I cannot believe how hard it is to get a decent picture of all three of the kids.
Meg's "other" costume was "Ladybug Girl". She loves the Ladybug Girl books, so fortune smiled upon us when a friend gave us a box of clothes and this costume was inside!
Picking out the perfect pumpkin took a LONG time. We have very discerning tastes.
We had a party at our house that ended up being just delightful. Everyone brought appetizers, the men took the kids trick or treating while the women chatted (and ate!). This is a picture of the kids AFTER their trick or treating . . . exhausted and not happy about a picture. Nevertheless, the mothers were insistent. The party was much more fun than this photo suggests :)

Love all the costumes. I can't believe how big Hunter is! Time is flying by way too fast without seeing you!
wow...that party sure does look boring. Ha! no smiles or anything! I bet it was much more fun than that. Perfect costumes for the cutest kids ever!
LOVE IT ALL!!!
